and so who wants not to be a Filipino?

2nd part of the three parts

What I Love and hate about the Philippines and its Countrymen

i am typical not so young citizen of the Philippines. of my 19 years of living and staying here, I am proud of what the Philippines has. We are trich in natural resources, we have a lot of toursit spots, the location is good for agriculture and the same. in short, we don't need the help of other countries. of what we have, it is enough to provide employment among the Filipinos. We know how to conserve and protect the mother nature and uses it for good cause. Our land is also home of the champions. We always try to stand out in everything. Just hours ago, Manny Pacquiao won the main event in boxing held in Las Vegas, Nevada and has made the Philippines shine again. Days ago, the future Efren "Bata" Reyes won the World pool event and Gretchen Malalad got the gold medal in Karate held in Korea. Everyone can sing and can play the guitar and the piano without being taught how to in a special school. we are always motivated in whatever we do for we always have goals and objectives. you may not know but the determination that each Filipino do shows that there really has. A lot of singers who have no good singing background keep on growing like a mushroom. we are all born talented. in academics, we also stand out and most of the time, made it to the top. Inventions, they are also proof that we know how to apply what we have learned. We are also good in entertaining. we have those moving works of art. we know how to adjust. we are approachable So who wants not to be a Filipino in that case?

But what is happening? Why are we suffering? why can't we escape poverty. We all know the answer but no one dares to make the first move to act. instead, we all keep on pulling down one another. The cultural center of the Philippines, Aliw theatre, Manila Hotel, and the others are owned by the Philippines. But not anymore. Not anymore. we sold them because we thought that it will be a nice idea. we will get more money. without knowing, that moment is the time we ended the flow of money to come in our hands. We just became ordinary employees and not the one who manage the business and the transactions anymore. slowly, skills were lost. what happened to the Philippines being the 3rd world best english speaking country? Allisa Alano, Ethel Booba, and Sugar Mercado, do they think they are funny? No they aren't. We are becoming more pathetic. Everybody needs improvement. Why is every Filipino found in every side of the world? No employment. Low salary wages. Is it the government that has problem about that? Do we really need to protest about the low salary wages? Well, i guess, not. Where do you buy those CD's and DVD's just to watch that much awaited movie? in stores where piracy is famous. Who do you support when there are movies? A movie made in Hollywood and Bollywood or a movie made in the Philippines? oh well, i'd rather go with movies like Casino Royale and the English Version of Happy Feet or a Disney movie. See? another, in buying shoes, what brand do you much prefer? Kickers and Mendrez or Bibo and Marikina shoes? oh well, an average Filipino will much prefer those brands from the states. In clothing? A giordano shirt or a blue corner? A giordano shirt of course. In jewelries, would you go to a pearl or to a diamond processed in Europe? and that is all the problem. I will serve the Philippines after I graduate as a missionary nurse but what help is that? It may be appreciated but it won't help that big. Philippines is in need help. Let us help one another. Impostors and hyppocrites are always there but if we will use our brains and don't support them, be practical, and be proud of what we are, we will rise again.

and i do believe there is hope for the philippines. may mga tao lang na hindi gumagawa ng part nila. may mga tao lang na masyadong focused sa faults ng government to even notice what's under their noses.

nakaka exasperate ang pinas minsan! pero alam ko na may pag asa pa tayo. un na nga lang.. walang makagawa ng first move..

How to Get Spectacular Grades from School

This article wasn't my idea actually. Here are just realizations of what's the best way to get good grades and how to have a full long-term memory rather than having a sensory motor or short-term memory. Advices are made by our very own writer from the Philippines, Ms. Jessica Zafra. Ewan ko ba kung natagpuan nya na ang tinitibok ng puso nya. haha. what i know is that matalino siya. start na tayo? Ok, ganito yan, to others, nagsisimula na ang kalbaryo ng buhay eskwela, to others sa june 13 pa. sa iba naman ewan ko. Since school year 2006-2007 has already begun, pressure to many students also come along. Hectic schedules, a lot of assignments, stupid projects and all causes insanity that ithers just freak then shout loudly to the class: "Ayaw ko na!!! I drop this subject! I can't stand you anymore!!!" In that case you will all need this good tips given by her. UNCUT VERSION (no add-ons) "How to get ridicoulously good grades in school and move on to a glorious

Summarizations

probably, this may be my last post for this month. i have a lot of requirements to submit and i have to meet all the requirements.and also the article that i have to finish for this month is started yet. but i'll still visit this everyday. you can see me online too on my ym account: gnomishwysard Message Everytime you wake up in the middle of your sleep, there's always this meaning. God wants to take to you. It's a magic that every 4.30am someone tries to wake me up. so surprised to find out that there is this "Christian" group who pray the rosary during that time. that thing is a prayer for world peace. but last tuesday, something weird happened. something made me wake up even when i have just slept for less than an hour. i was able to start the praying of the rosary. the Apostles Creed, one Our Father, 3 Hail Mary's, one Glory be, etc. i reached up to the 2nd mystery then unconsciously i have fallen asleep. I got a nightmare. the scene happened in front of t

Inspired. No. I am not in love. Let's just say that I got inspired with what my mother told me. They are actually creepy stories and I can't believe that my father will be able to do such thing when I was a child. Even though our set of businesses are starting to fall one by one, he still managed to provide everything that i want. If only I know what is happening that time, I should've not tolerated him. The story my mother told me made me cry and it gave me the determination to push even harder. I know they expected a lot from me about taking up a business-related course and i failed them. But i'll prove them wrong. I reserved something better for them. And won't fail them this time. Not even a little. I won't tell what that creepy story was. I just want to remember that i got inspired with what my mother told me. When I look at this entry after some long years, still, I will remember what that creepy story was. Love. In relation to the first part, I just real
